Universal Portable Monitoring Platform
New Zealand’s exclusive portable wastewater monitoring solution. Flexible, accurate, real-time monitoring without relying on mains power so you can maintain resource consent compliance with minimal operational disruption.
Our seven weatherproof, lockable trailer-based monitoring platforms provide real-time data via a web interface. Configurable to your site’s specific needs, parameters include:

Refrigerated auto-sampling for heavy metals, hydrocarbons, particle size distribution, and COD analysis

Permanent Monitoring Installations
We provide permanent monitoring stations for key quarry water parameters such as turbidity, pH, and dissolved oxygen. These stations can be mains - or solar-powered and communicate via area networks, cellular modems, radio, or satellite.
Open Channel Flow Measurement
For highly variable quarry water flows, we offer reliable flow measurement using Palmer Bowlus Flumes, Parshall Flumes, Venturi Flumes, Cipoletti Weirs, and V-notch Weirs.
Tracer Tests
Rhodamine and lithium tracer tests help assess quarry water capture effectiveness, identify leaks, and evaluate hydraulic retention and mixing behaviour.
Sludge Mapping
Using remote-controlled boats with sonar or manual methods, we survey treatment ponds to determine sediment and sludge buildup, ensuring optimal treatment system capacity.
Wet Sampling Programmes
BPO designs and implements automated or manual sampling programmes to assess quarry water quality, ensuring effective treatment and regulatory compliance.
Coagulation, Sedimentation, and Floatation Studies
We conduct laboratory and pilot-scale tests to determine the best processes and additives for solid separation in quarry water.
Automated pH Correction
Our premanufactured pH correction dosing stations automatically adjust quarry water pH levels, integrating monitoring, chemical dosing, and control functions in one skid unit.
Aeration Design and Optimisation
We assist in selecting and positioning aeration equipment to enhance treatment efficiency and reduce operating costs for quarry water with low oxygen levels or high organic loads.
